Destination Formations is a career-orientation tool for Year 9 (3e) students in the Var (83), their families and teaching staff. This page explains what data is processed — and above all what is not — in compliance with GDPR.

What is this site for?

Destination Formations helps Year 9 (3e) students explore the 104 CAP and Bac Pro programmes offered in the Var: search, map, detailed fact sheets, comparison tool and a career-planning feature. The site is provided in a strictly educational context. It is entirely non-commercial and displays no advertising.

Who can use the site?

The site is aimed at Year 9 (3e) students preparing their career path, the families who support them, and teaching staff (head teachers, PsyEN, CIO). No user account is required: every feature is freely accessible, with no sign-up.

What data is collected?

No personal data is collected on our servers. The site has no sign-up form and asks for no password, no email address and no phone number. You can browse the entire site without ever sharing any personal information.

Your choices stay in your browser

When you add a programme to your favourites, use the comparison tool, fill in your career plan, change the language or theme, or enable Easy Read mode, these choices are saved only in your browser's local storage (localStorage). They never leave your device, are never sent to a server, and you can erase them at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser.

Audience measurement

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool hosted on our own servers. Umami anonymously counts the number of visits, the pages viewed and the device types. It sets no advertising cookie, cannot identify you personally and never cross-references data with other sites. See the Cookies page for details and how to opt out.

Your rights

Since no personal data is collected, in practice there is no data about you to access, correct or delete on the server side. Should you still have a question relating to GDPR (Articles 15 to 22), write to [email protected] or contact the student's school.
